Apologists

Here is a debate between evangelical-Christian-turned-atheist Dan Barker taking on apologist Phil Fernandes in 2000. I almost hate to post this because Fernandes is really quite poor at arguing his side. Like Barker says repeatedly during the debate, Fernandes never offers one shred of evidence for his argument, he simple states that his facts are true. I really like Barker and am always happy to watch him destroy his opponent in God debates, so here it is for your enjoyment:

John Loftus is trying to convince his former mentor, Christian apologist William Lane Craig, to debate him on religion. Loftus is a former evangelical who is now a leading atheist advocate. Sign in to Facebook and join the group requesting this debate. Craig is a solid advocate of Apologist positions and has given many atheists fits in debates. It would be very interesting to see his former student Loftus challenge him in a debate format.
